Public Works shared a significant role at the 2018 Youth Parliament

KwaZulu-Natal Department of Public Works shared and led a significant role at the 2018 Provincial Youth Parliament that was celebrated on the 14th and 15th of June at the Belgrade Sport Ground, Pongola Local Municipality, in Zululand District, which is the North Coast of the KwaZulu-Natal Province. After a strategic evaluation and consideration, the Provincial Legislature in liaison with the Executive Council thought it befitting to choose Pongola as an ideal area to host such a prestigious occasion.

The 2018 Youth Parliament sitting was honoured under the theme "Live the Legacy: Towards a Socio-economically Empowered Youth". It came during the commencement of the 2018 Youth Month campaign as well as at a period when South Africa is in full commemoration of the centenary year of Nelson Mandela and Albertina Nontsikelelo Sisulu.
