The enthralling Indian themed heritage day hosted by the Southern Region on the 19th of September 2019 imparted the importance of acknowledging and embracing the uniqueness and diversity of every culture. The Head of Department for KZN Public works, Dr. Gaster, delivered an enticing speech which broadly spoke about the importance of showing respect to one another. He asserted that "We must give people space to be who they are. There is no right or wrong culture but there is a way to behave right. We must have massive respect for one another, even when we engage in a professional level. Let us learn to tolerate and accept those we feel different about".
