A special visit on Wednesday 6 June 2018 to the Ngcolosi Secondary School was a centre of the "Upgrades and Additions" project that has been successfully delivered by eThekwini Region. Mack Sathanand, the Project Manager, Shabbir Ismail, the Architect and the entire project team have been instrumental to the completion of the project within the scheduled timeline. This is a public school situated in Ntunjambili, a rural area of KwaMaphumulo, located within the iLembe District Municipality.
EThekwini Region, with its own personnel from different disciplines are brought together to do the job, unique in its kind. In the beginning, the workforce may not be familiar with one another and role allocation and teamwork still need to be developed. Sometimes, some members may be involved in three or more projects simultaneously. They really face a tough time dividing their time and attention. Soon as the result is in sight, they gradually shift their focus again to their future assignments.
