The Public Service Women in Management Week meeting was held at eThekwini region on Tuesday. The Head of Department as the custodian of the Eight Principles Action Plan for Women Empowerment and Gender Equality shared his views on the implementation of these principles. This is a Departmental obligation as per the DPSA directive on Women in Management. Consultations were undertaken with women managers from levels 9 to 12. There were also various presentations to shed light on the gender equity challenges and achievements in the Department.
