On the 19th of April 2018 the Public Works Portfolio Committee conducted an oversight visit at Ugu District in Port Shepstone to establish progress on building projects that are currently underway. In response to Public Works’ greening policy, it is envisaged that future construction and infrastructure projects will conform to Grade 4 star green, star rated building standard.
