From the 9th to 10th October 2018, the KwaZulu-Natal Cabinet hosted the 2018 Senior Citizens Parliament that was held at the Amajuba TVET College Grounds, located in Section 2 of Ward 22, eMadadeni, Newcastle within Amajuba District Municipality. The event began with the celebration of International Day for Senior Citizens on Monday 8 October 2018.
