Government Property Finder Portal Launch

This day marks a historic milestone for KwaZulu-Natal with the launch of the Government Property Finder Portal, the first platform of its kind in South Africa.

Following an extensive verification process, the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Public Works and Infrastructure has confirmed 10,067 government-owned properties across the province.

The portal brings property information closer to the people, providing transparent, accessible and real-time information to communities, businesses, Non-Governmental Organisations and estate agents.

This initiative which is about more than technology is also about ensuring that government-owned assets create opportunities and deliver tangible benefits for communities.

The launch comes at a significant time for the Department, following its historic Clean Audit Outcome, demonstrating our continued commitment to good governance, accountability and responsible public asset management.
