KZN MEC For Public Works And Infrastructure Meets Departmental Staff

On Wednesday evening, 26 June 2024, MEC for Department of Public Works and Infrastructure KwaZulu-Natal, Marthinus Meyer, attended the Annual General meeting of Master Builders KwaZulu-Natal Association. As the custodian of infrastructure construction, MEC Meyer underscored the need for a strong working relationship between the Department and authentic construction organizations.

"The hopelessness felt by people of KwaZulu-Natal over the last few years due to the riots, floods and COVID -19 have been since replaced by optimism as a government of unity, peacefully take the seats of government,” said Meyer.

“The people have shown great confidence in us as they feel the hope of 1994 once again," he said.

Addressing delegates, he emphasised the importance of working together with him to service the people of KwaZulu-Natal and he assured Masters Builders of his support.
