Ms Phumzile Lembede is a Director/Professional Environmental Scientist at Emvelo Quality and Environmental Consultant (PTY) Ltd.  She is a Master of Business Administration candidate at the University of East London in the United Kingdom.  She holds BSc Honours in Environmental Management, Btech Degree in Quality Management, National Diploma in Chemical Engineering and other additional certificates.

 

Phumzile is a registered Professional Scientist,Pr.Sci.Nat (SACNASP), a registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAPASA) and ESG Specialist with 13 years’ experience in the Environmental Management sector and Built environment. She has been involved with several construction projects, leading the environmental expertise from the planning, construction/operational and post-development stages of the projects.  She is currently involved in several community projects which includes providing environmental trainings through Emvelo Academy (Emvelo’s training division), registered with LGSETA.  She has been nominated in different achievement categories such as the Achiever of the Standard Bank Finalist: Top Women in Entrepreneurship and SMME in 2023, Top Women in Science 2022&2021, Woman of Stature Organisation 2023: Women in Science Finalist, Business Women’s Association (BWA) Winner: Environmental Entrepreneur in 2020.
