The Premier of KwaZulu-Natal Province, Honourable Mr Thembinkosi Willies Mchunu invited all citizenry of Amajuba District Municipality and the neighbouring boundaries at a special Imbizo. The prestigious evet took place at the Durnacol Sport Complex, in Dannhauser on Saturday 13 October 2018. Accompanying Premier Mchunu at the event were MECs Dhlomo and Pillay, Mayor for Dannhauser Local Municipality, Cllr Phakathi, Mayor for Amajuba District Municipality, Cllr Dr Ngubane, Inkosi Kubheka, who is also Chairperson for Amajuba District Traditional Leaders, Rev. Nkosi, Mr Smanga Kunene, the Champion of the Society of People Living with Albinism, Izinduna, Councillors and other senior delegates. ‘Izinduna’ may literally mean great leaders from the Zulu clans who serve as ambassadors, advisories, headmen and or commanders within certain clans with special roles to play for and on behalf of the King.
